Seed potatoe cutter

The DEMA seed potato cutter cuts the seed potatoes by means of driven round knives. These divisible knives are fed by a driven roller conveyor equipped with full-core diabolo rollers in which the seed potatoes are fed separately to the knives in one row. The circular knives, adjustable in height, ensure a precise cut of the seed potatoes in two parts at a flow rate of 1.5 ton/h per row.

Seed potatoe treatment device

The DEMA plant treatment table treats the plants by means of driven rollers. Above the 9 stainless steel rollers is a system that sprays the liquid onto the plants. Thanks to the rollers the plants rotate during the treatment, thus covering the whole surface with the liquid. At the end of the rollers the plants are directed to an exit belt. This belt, adjustable in inclination, starts below the rollers, so that the residue of the liquid is collected with the treated product.

Extra transversal discharge belt for cut product. 2m50 x 500mm fitted with 2-ply PVC belt, self-steering, endless. Electric transmissions left/right rotation, thermally protected. Mounted on the chassis of the seed potato cutter.

Powdering device on a support for powdering the cut product. Provided with a vibrator motor (mono 220V), controlled from the central control system.

The chassis is extended with 4 cast-iron swivel wheels (surrounded by PU), 2 of which have brakes.

A separate alignment machine provides smooth feeding to the seed potato cutter. The machine is worked out according to the number of rows on the seed potato cutter. Each row is equipped with 5 driven pinion strings, the outer two strings are driven separately from the inner 3 strings. All are adjustable in speed and rotation by means of 2 frequency inverters.
