The DEMA optical sorter is one of a kind! No fingers and no other moving parts to eject waste from your product stream. Our model operates solely using air! So there are no fingers that can break or cylinders that can jam, and it can remove both heavy and light weight objects from your stream with a high reaction speed.

  • Self-guiding feed conveyor with electric drive
  • Inspection-/launch belt, self-guiding hedgehog belt with electric drive
  • Self-guiding receiving belt, with electric drive
  • Cross conveyor belt for waste, belt width 500 mm, electric drive, rotating left/right
  • Cross conveyor belt for the product, belt width 700 mm, electric drive, rotating left/right
  • Camera and pneumatic system, including:
    • One camera per 600mm working width
    • Pneumatic V-shaped valve block with a double pneumatic valve per nozzle
    • Pneumatic system with filters and reservoirs
    • Separate control unit, including an AI-powered computer
    • Touchscreen operating system
  • The individual models are built on a separate frame, fitted with wheels and a tow bar

  • The machine does not use any physical components to remove the waste:
    • No fingers that can break
    • No hinges that get stuck
    • No cylinders that can jam
  • The pneumatic ejection system allows both heavy and light objects to be removed
  • Minimum detection diameter: 25 mm

Clod separator - double roll

The clod separators are available in several versions. This model is designed with two drums and is suitable for cleaning a significant flow with a large variation in product diameter (e.g. custom-made 25-45mm). This machine is suitable for the separation of dry clods from potatoes, onions and shallots. It has several belts to feed the product to the drums and to centralize the cleaned product. At the exit there are only 2 exit belts, 1 for the cleaned product and 1 for the waste.
